REVOLUTION TUNED

Revolution tuned is a collection of 3 sound bites from Egypt, recorded live in Cairo and Alexandria between October 2010 and May 2011. The sounds have been processed, and electronic synthesized frequencies have been added to the original recordings. The result is a compositional soundwork in which, what emerges is an expressionist use of sounds. By combining natural and artificial sounds, the clip aims to communicate an emotional snapshot of the latest Egyptian revolution.
